About Us

WHAT DO WE DO?

At Lambeth Larder we are working to build a better-connected community that can support those of us in need. How do we do this?

  1. We provide free online and offline resources to empower local people in times of need.
  2. We connect local people in financial need to emergency food other support to help reduce their time in crisis.
  3. We work across communities and sectors, linking organisations, helping promote their support services, and avoid duplication.

OUR MISSION

Lambeth Larder’s mission is to increase local food and financial equality and empower our communities to thrive. We want to achieve fair food and financial systems, that centre on solidarity, empowerment, and choice.

WHY IS OUR WORK NEEDED?

Since we set up in 2017, we have witnessed the negative impacts of Brexit, the pandemic, benefits cuts, and the ongoing Cost-of-Living Crisis. Many of the people we support are struggling to pay for basics like food, travel, clothing, and fuel. Our goal is to make sure that anyone in financial need can find help to reduce their time in crisis.
